A turnkey federal revenue stream

The VA's Veterans First program has contracting officers look to service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses first. Across government, the SDVOSB goal rose from 3% to 5% of prime and subcontract dollars. Those buys need an eligible SDVOSB to hold the contract.

What a partnership gives you

  • Access to set-aside channels: compete for VA and DoD buys reserved for service-disabled veteran-owned firms.
  • No in-house government sales team: we find the solicitations, write the quotes and manage the paperwork.
  • Contract administration: representations and certifications, purchase orders, delivery confirmation and closeout.
  • Government invoicing: we bill through PIEE (WAWF) or the VA Financial Services Center and pay you on agreed terms.

SDVOSB set-aside awards require SBA VetCert certification. Our application is pending.

What federal buyers will ask for

Federal supply rules decide which products can go on which contracts. We check these up front so every quote holds up.

What we ask of partners

  • TAA-compliant products: made or substantially transformed in the U.S. or a designated country, with country of origin documented for each item.
  • Reseller pricing and net terms that leave room to compete on government buys.
  • Drop-ship to federal facilities, including the packaging, labeling and delivery appointments each order calls for.
  • An authorization letter naming Sentinel Forge as an authorized reseller of your products.
  • Product data: part numbers, units of measure, specifications, and UDI and FDA details for devices.

Small-business manufacturers are especially valuable. On small business and SDVOSB set-aside supply contracts, a reseller generally must offer products made in the U.S. by a small business, unless SBA has waived that requirement for the item (the nonmanufacturer rule). Products from larger manufacturers can still be quoted on unrestricted and open-market buys and where a waiver applies. Each solicitation's terms govern.

An SDVOSB teaming partner for supply

Add a responsive, owner-operated supply partner to your federal contracts.

How we support primes

  • Subcontracting plan goals: SDVOSB participation for your small business subcontracting plan.
  • Supply and drop-ship: medical consumables, surgical devices, durable medical equipment and commercial products delivered to your sites or end users.
  • One accountable contact: direct access to the owner on every order.

SDVOSB set-aside awards and subcontracting credit require SBA VetCert certification. Our application is pending.

Join our facilities support network

When we win facility support work, partner firms perform it. We handle the pursuit, contract administration and the customer relationship.

Who we're looking for

  • Veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned firms, registered in SAM.gov.
  • Janitorial, grounds, maintenance and repair, equipment service, moving and similar trades.
  • Firms in Georgia and the Southeast first, with others considered by location.

On set-aside service contracts, the federal limitations on subcontracting allow work to go to similarly situated firms, which is why we team with SDVOSBs.
